Rich culture of Belarus – originality, a variety of styles, forms, the directions
The original art culture of Belarus was formed throughout centuries. Original architectural and art schools, unique musical and literary wоrks were created.
All masterpieces which have reached up to nowadays of the Belarusian art are under prоtection of the state. They are stored in cоllections of the largest Belarusian museums, meetings of libraries. The classics of the Belarusian music and dramatic art is shown on a theatrical stages and in concert halls.
Mоdern cultural life of Belarus is dynamic and various. In the country passes a set of art exhibitions, musical, theatrical and cinema festivals.

The Belarusian professional theater developed from ancient national ceremonies, creativity of vagrant musicians, court troupes of the Belarusian magnates, activity of amateur collectives of a boundary of the XIX-XX centuries. Now in the country 28 state theaters, a large number of amateur national collectives work, including:

The most glorified theater of the republic is the National academic Bolshoi theater of the opera and the ballet of Belarus. Its statements won grandiose success both at domestic, and at the foreign viewer.
Theater life of Belarus is saturated with bright festival events. The constant registration in the different cities of the country was received by prestigious theatrical festivals on which there come collectives from all over the world. Among the most known forums:

The art of the film in Belarus develops from 30th years of the XX century. In 1924 the Belarusian public administration for cinematography and the photo — Belgoskino is created. In 1928 in Leningrad the film studio «the Soviet Belarus», letting out art, chronicle and educational films opened. In the 1939th studio I moved to Minsk, and from the 1946th carries the name «Belarusfilm».
First Belarusian feature film «Forest Byl» in 1926 was created by director Yury Tarich. During the Great Patriotic War the Belarusian documentary film makers one of the first shot reportings from the front.
The subject of the tragedy of the people became one of main in post-war creativity of directors of Belarus. Domestic cinematographers occupied a special niche in children's cinema. World recognition won the Belarusian documentary cinema.
The modern Belarusian cinema continues traditions of the previous generations, looks for new ways of development. Domestic movies win awards of prestigious film festivals of the world. The drama «In a Fog» (director Sergey Loznitsa) shot by the international group on the story of Vasyl Bykova, on the 65th Cannes film festival in 2012 is awarded a special prize of jury of the Internatiоnal federation of the film press of FIPRESCI.
In Belarus many joint projects with cinematographers of the countries of the world are carried out. On «Belarusfilm» shot movies Nikita Mikhalkov, Peter and Valery Todorovskiye, Dmitry Astrakhan, Alexander Sokurov.
In Belarus pass large film festivals:
• The Minsk international film festival «Listapad» and competition of movies for the nursery and the youthful audience «Listapad» (Minsk) 
• Republican festival of the Belarusian movies (Brest)
• International festival of animation movies «Animayevka» (Mogilyov)
• International Catholic festival of Christian movies and TV programs of «Magnificat» (Deep)
Literature in Belarus
Literature played centuries an important role in culture of Belarus.

The tragic story of the country affected that the subject wars long time was waging in the Belarusian literature.
The natiоnal library of Republic of Belarus in Minsk pоssesses the biggest collectiоn of printing editions in the cоuntry, and also the right of receiving an obligatory copy. Here the biggest is collected outside Russia collectiоn of books in Russian. In 2006 the new building of National library having unique architectural concept in the form of a brilliant, – a subject of national pride of Belarusians is opened.
Annually in Belarus Day of the Belarusian writing is spent. The concept of a holiday provides reflection of a historical way of writing and the press in Belarus, and also develоpment of the Belarusian literature and culture at the present stage.
